Pentelar at Transformation and Innovation Conference
May 22-24, 2006 Washington D.C.
Transformation and Innovation 2006 is designed for Chief Architects and CIOs, Business Process Owners, Operations Managers, Enterprise Architects, Business Analysts, IT strategists, and Business Consultants. |
| |
Pentelar Inc. was instrumental in implementing a pilot for three Canadian Federal Government departments that allowed the departments to collaborate electronically with two other non-federal government departments. The premise was to provide the Federal departments with the ability to electronically authenticate (through the use of Web Services and ebXML) Identity Document data with the Issuing Entity, in support of the Federal departments' business missions. |
| |
The project is based on Open Standards (like ebXML, XML Encryption and Structured XML document payloads) so that each partner could implement its solutions using its preferred platform and software. The project is now ready to enter into a Production phase and begin incorporating 15 new partners. |
| |
This presentation will discuss the success and pitfalls of implementing Open Standards across various organizations with specific details of real-life experiences. |
