Computerworld Honors Award

Pentelar was selected as a 2004 Computerworld Honors Laureate and received a Medal of Achievement for its work with the Canadian Passport Office.

The Computerworld Honors Program recognizes organizations that are leading the global information technology revolution. The related work was a Birth Certificate Pilot Project, involving a proof of concept for electronic verification of Birth Certificate information with the corresponding Provincial Vital Statistics Agency.

The project used ebXML Web Services to facilitate secure and reliable on-line business transactions.
